Lot 7 Lewis Ableidinger Harvey, North Dakota Farmstead South of Denhoff, ND, 2024 Archival Inkjet Print 15 x 20 inches $350 – 450 Lewis Ableidinger (b. 1983) grew up on a farm near Kensal, ND. He attended Minnesota State University Moorhead where he was able to study with photographer Wayne Gudmundson and graduated in 2007 with a B.S. in Graphic Communications and a Bachelor of Music. In 2023 Lewis published his first monograph, Driving Through Flyover Country, which documented the landscape and people of the Midwest. He was a Top 50 Finalist for Photolucida Critical Mass 2025 and a recipient of the 2025 Critical Mass Michael Reichmann Anniversary Prize. Lewis has had his photography appear in such publications as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker, and Bloomberg Businessweek. Lewis lives in Harvey, ND, where he works as a locomotive engineer and freelance photographer.
